SINCE 1991

Our history

We were born in 1991 by young software engineers seeing a commercial opportunity for leveraging the accelerating possibilities of technology to meet the rise of complex security threats. From the belief that the value of technology depends on its significance for humanity, we started developing software that enables decision-makers and operators to save lives and protect critical infrastructure in high-impact incidents and complex emergencies.

MORE THAN 50 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Our Leadership

Bruhn NewTech’s leadership is founded on more than three decades of experience at the intersection of technology, operational readiness and human protection. Since 1991, we have combined engineering excellence with a clear humanitarian purpose: to develop mission-ready solutions that help protect lives, critical infrastructure, and resilient societies in an increasingly unpredictable world.

Our leadership team is driven by the belief that technology only creates value when it delivers meaningful impact in real-world environments. Across land, sea, air, space and cyber domains, we lead with a commitment to developing proven software solutions that enable faster, more informed decision-making in high-risk and time-critical situations.

OUR JOURNEY

Driven by purpose since 1991

Founded in 1991 by software engineers driven by the belief that technology should serve humanity, Bruhn NewTech began developing software to help first responders react quickly and save lives in critical incidents. Today, that same mindset continues to guide our work: building solutions designed to perform where reliability, speed and operational value matter most.

OUR DNA

Strategic narrative

Across defence, public safety, and critical infrastructure, professionals are operating in increasingly complex and high-risk environments. When lives, infrastructure, and security are at stake, organisations need more than technology alone. They need trusted and mission-ready solutions that perform in real-world conditions, empowering operators to act with confidence when it matters most.

Bruhn NewTech exists to increase the number of people protected from emerging threats. One human life at a time.

We were born in 1991 when a group of young software engineers recognised the potential of emerging technologies to address increasingly complex security challenges. From the belief that the value of technology depends on its significance for humanity, we began developing software that helps decision-makers and operators protect people, infrastructure, and environments in high-impact incidents and complex emergencies.

We are driven by our mission to deliver defence and security software that enables faster, more informed decisions in high-risk environments.

Today, we support civil authorities, defence organisations, and critical infrastructure operators across the EU, NATO, and more than 40 countries worldwide. With over 30 years of experience, we have built a reputation for delivering trusted decision-support and information management software that helps organisations detect threats, reduce response times, and coordinate effective action.

Our expertise spans defence and security environments across land, sea, air, cyber, and space. While our heritage is rooted in world-leading CBRN capability, we continue to expand our portfolio to address emerging operational challenges. From hazard prediction and sensor-integrated decision support to counter-UAS operations, cyber resilience, advanced threat assessment, and space domain awareness, we develop software that helps organisations maintain situational awareness, operational readiness, and decision superiority in complex environments.

A defining strength of Bruhn NewTech is our close relationship with the professionals who use our solutions. Through training, exercises, support, and continuous engagement, we remain connected to the realities faced by operators in the field. This creates an ongoing feedback loop between technology and practice, allowing us to continuously refine and evolve our software to meet changing operational needs and ensure long-term mission effectiveness.

Working closely with our partner Riskaware, we extend our ability to bring cutting-edge scientific capabilities into real-world use. While Riskaware develops and validates advanced modelling and analytical approaches, Bruhn NewTech transforms these innovations into scalable, mission-ready software that can be deployed where it matters most.

Bruhn NewTech is part of Evallic, home to leading European defence software and technology companies, protecting what matters most: people’s lives, safety, and freedom. Through the knowledge and innovation that move across the group, we expand our shared capabilities to support resilient societies.

Bruhn NewTech envisions a world where the people responsible for protecting society are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Engineers by profession and inventors at heart, we will continue leveraging the possibilities of an increasingly connected world – developing innovative solutions that strengthen operational decision-making and help protect people, infrastructure, and the environments they depend upon.
