CBRN-Analysis Classic

CBRN Defence Planning and Incident Management

CBRN-Analysis Classic is a proven CBRN knowledge management application for hazard prediction, Warning & Reporting and operational decision support. Configurable and modular, it provides commanders with rapid, accurate information to strengthen situational awareness and manage CBRN risk across planning, deployment, operations and recovery. Existing Classic deployments continue to be fully supported, with a clear migration path to CBRN-Analysis NG from 2028.

Key Capabilities

\

Hazard prediction & contaminated areas

Calculate NATO-approved hazard and contaminated areas for CBRN incidents and rapidly visualise predicted effects on a map.

\

Situational awareness

Identify key areas and units at risk and provide commanders with a clear CBRN picture to support informed, time-critical decisions.

\

Risk object & scenario management

Define facilities, locations and other risk objects and use what-if scenarios to assess known or potential CBRN hazards.

\

NATO-compliant Warning & Reporting

Support NATO CBRN Warning & Reporting with ATP-45/AEP-45 calculations, APP-11(E)1 message formats and APP-6(D) symbology.

\

C4i integration

Integrate CBRN-Analysis across command-and-control platforms and communication infrastructures to improve interoperability between commands.

\

Briefing & exercise support

Automatically generate briefing material for commanders and stakeholders and support exercise planning through Computer Assisted Exercise (CAX) capabilities.

In the field

CBRN-Analysis has supported NATO forces and civil authorities through three decades of real operations — protecting athletes and spectators at the Athens 2004 and London 2012 Olympic Games, supporting the safe removal of chemical weapons from Syria in 2014 and Libya in 2016, and providing hazard predictions to NATO commands in Zaporizhzhia. In each case the task was the same: turn fragmented CBRN information into a clear picture fast enough to act on.
